Finance Wales (Cyllid Cymru):

Finance Wales can back new B2B and B2C businesses with micro-loans of between £1,000-£50,000, and between £50,000-£2,000,000 equity capital for tech ventures, from The Wales Technology Seed Fund as well as the Wales JEREMIE Fund.

North East Growth Plus Fund (part of FW Capital):

This fund can provide between £350,000 and £1,250,000 for businesses based in the North East of England (Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham and the Tees Valley). The business needs to be generating revenue.

Sussex Place Ventures:

SPV invests between £100k and £1m in early stage software and SaaS businesses. Also, early stage IP-rich technology companies – often University spin outs. Lastly digital ventures with evidence of user traction. The turnover of these companies can be from zero to £2m, and pre-profit.

UK Steel Enterprise: 

UK Steel Enterprise is a subsidiary of Tata Steel. It can provide equity capital up to £750,000 for up to 25% of the shares of a company. It seeks to help companies particularly in areas affected by changes in the steel industry, such as Sheffield, Redcar, Hartlepool, Bellshill, Cardiff and Ebbw Vale.
