The Importance Of A Promotional Video For Startups


One of the most exciting things about working in a startup during the early phase is coming up with inventive ways to sell your product. It’s even harder when your product has never existed before, and you need to keep the best features behind a login screen for your customers.

The answer for us was a promotional video.

We came out of Beta in March this year and quickly realised we needed a way of getting our proposition across to potential customers who had never come across Match Capital before. Our Beta had over 100 users and we received some amazing feedback, so we knew showcasing the product would drum up interest in the market and tell our story.

After sending countless emails explaining our proposition, creating pitch decks, making plenty of phone calls, we decided to put together a short promotional video.

It’s been a great asset to have on our website and to send to people who are interested in our business, quickly explaining what we do and the service we offer. Not only that, it’s something investors love to see when you pitch to them for funding.
