At Match Capital, our twice weekly blog (Tuesdays and Thursdays) monitors and highlights the key players who are actively investing into private companies, and who may be relevant to our SME readers. These key players are drawn from:
  • accelerators (those who actually invest cash!)

  • angel networks

  • corporate investors

  • crowdfunding platforms

  • family offices

  • private equity firms

  • syndicates

  • venture capital funds

We continue daily to profile candidates from each and every one of these groups into our platform, so that when a company seeking equity capital also profiles itself on our platform, our algorithm generates the entire list of investors (over 1000 and rising daily), and ranks each in order of relevance to the company’s investment proposition, in seconds.

Think match.com for equity capital.

They invest super early and do not pretend to be able to predict the future. All they have is pattern recognition to help us find the black swans that return VC funds so they looked for patterns in both the entrepreneurs they had backed (as well as those they didn’t) and tried to find patterns.
